The first course in Portugal Climbing Techniques and Selective Pruning of Ornamental Trees, carried out by Escola Beira Aguieira - Professional School of Mortágua in the National Forest of Bussaco in 1998/99, followed the model certified by the French Ministry of Agriculture, allowing a group of technicians to enter a totally innovative area at the time.

In September 2003, one of these technicians founded the company Sequóia Verde - Tratamento de Árvores, Unipessoal Lda., allowing it to be implanted in the Portuguese market, becoming a reference in the use of innovative techniques in Urban Arboriculture and Forestry.

The company has a team of specialized technicians, which are distributed in three sectors:

Arborists (climbers / mowers), soil operators that assist the arboriculture interventions and Forest Engineer;

Forest operators and machinery operators operating in woods and forest stands;
